Reference Electrodes

Description

Reference electrodes are critical to acquiring good electrochemical data and Gamry only provides reference electrodes of the highest quality and stability.  Drift in the reference electrode potential can cause quantitative and qualitative errors in data collection and analysis beyond simple inaccuracies in the measured potential. High performance potentiostats can be susceptible to errors if the reference electrode impedance is too high or the reference electrode is not stable.
